We are Charlotte & Santino your Landlords at the Horseshoe since late April 2023. We would also like to introduce Simba who is an integral part of the team!
When we arrived the Horseshoe was very unloved. Previous Landlords preferring to retain the status quo, as a result the public areas had become outdated and were showing considerable signs of wear and tear.
The task in hand was immense, but we decided that our priority would be the pub and restaurant interior. The job not being to just 'restore it to its former glory' - but to make it into a modern day pub and eatery that would attract, and help us retain customers whatever their requirements.
We spent from April until June refurbishing the inside of the pub. It wasn't all plain sailing, as the layers of the past were stripped back, it would bring new problems to light which we would have to resolve and fix. The Horseshoe reopened for business in June to extremely good support from the locals. Soon after the Exterior design was applied making it the Pub and Restaurant you see today
THE HORSESHOE
is a sister pub to the Cowpers Oak in Weston Underwood, which is also run by our family.
Needless to say we offer a family and dog friendly environment with well kept beer, an excellent range of drinks and a comprehensive 'home cooked menu' from our kitchen..
We feel this makes the The Horseshoe an inviting place for everyone to meet, whether its a lunchtime
snack, drink after work, a quiet meal out, family occasion or just chilling with friends.
We think we have done our part in building back the Horseshoe community that has thrived within these walls for over one hundred years. So why not join us and experience it for yourselves.
